Torque Pro ("the App") is an OBD2 car diagnostic and performance monitoring tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Torque Pro collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:
All vehicle data is stored locally on your device. Data is only transmitted if you explicitly use the cloud backup or data export features.
Torque Pro requires Bluetooth permission to communicate with your OBD2 adapter. This connection is used exclusively for reading vehicle diagnostic data and is not used to scan for, connect to, or collect data from other Bluetooth devices.
Location access is used for trip tracking, map overlay features, and fuel station proximity. Location data is stored locally and is not shared with third parties.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
If you choose to export data or use cloud backup, your vehicle data will be transmitted securely. You control when and where your data is exported. We do not automatically upload any data.
Vehicle diagnostic data, trip logs, and preferences are stored locally using Android's local database. Data is encrypted during cloud backup transfers.
This App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
