Overview

WiFi File Transfer turns your device into a local file server (FTP/FTPS/HTTP) for wireless file transfers over your WiFi network. All transfers happen directly between devices on your local network.

Data Collection

This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:

No files are uploaded to cloud servers
All file transfers occur on your local WiFi network only
No user accounts are required
No analytics or tracking SDKs are used
Server credentials are stored locally on your device only

Network Usage

This app creates a local FTP/HTTP server on your device. The server is accessible only to devices connected to the same WiFi network. No data is transmitted over the internet.

FTPS mode uses a self-signed SSL certificate generated locally on your device for encrypted transfers.

Permissions

WiFi/Network State: Required to start server and detect WiFi connection
Storage Access: Required to serve files from your device
Foreground Service: Keeps the server running while the app is in the background
Notifications: Shows server status notification

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13.
